Copy Text or Download PNG: Which Should You Use?
A font preview shows your words in a selected typeface. Copying those words and downloading that preview are two different actions. Choose the output based on what you need to do next.
Use Copy text when you need editable words
Copy text puts the characters you entered on your clipboard. You can paste them into a message, document or text field and continue editing the words. The receiving app controls the font and layout, so the result may not look like the preview here. Changing the font in this generator does not change the underlying Hindi or Tamil characters.
Use PNG when the appearance matters
A PNG is an image of the styled text. It keeps the selected font, color and supported effects. Choose a transparent background when you want to place the lettering over a photo or another design. The image will not behave like an editable text field in the other app.
What is a font file?
A TTF or OTF file contains a font that compatible software can load. It is different from both a copied sentence and a PNG. This generator does not create new font files. Font details link to the original source where available, so you can review the font and its license separately.
A quick way to choose
Sending a message? Copy the text. Making a visual heading? Download a PNG. Need the font inside another editor? Check whether that editor supports installing fonts, then review the font’s source and license. For a complete graphic, you can also continue to the optional Design Studio.
Before downloading
Wait for the selected font to finish loading. Check the exact wording, choose the background, and review the image size. Keep your draft when you expect to change the text later; you can edit it here and export another PNG.
